From Ladin—a traditional Romance language with roots in Latin, still spoken in parts of the Dolomites—Tola means tile, an ode to the object's pattern inspired by the sloped, tiled rooftops of alpine houses. The Tola vase in Bianco Dolomia is crafted from glazed porcelain with a subtle craquelé finish that brings texture to its monochrome form. The aged, textured effect of the recalls the decorative treatments of the alpine Stube. Designed by Cristina Celestino, its geometric patterning offers a contemporary take on traditional decorative surfaces. The fully glazed vase features a tone-on-tone Acqua di Parma crest embossed on each relief panel, while the base maintains the same tonal finish with the designer's signature underneath the vase.
