Celebrating the essence of independent chic with La Caletta as imagined by Laura Gonzalez, where simplicity becomes sophistication - a summer collection starring the traditional craftsmanship of Bergamotto La Spugnatura Eau de Parfum.
A rare limited-edition from a centuries-old extraction technique preserved by a select few artisans in Calabria. Skillful gestures passed down through generations, where the essence of bergamot is manually extracted using a natural sea sponge. A singularly hand-crafted Eau de Parfum — rich and lively, revealing its nuances in full vibrancy. In a porcelain bottle designed by Laura Gonzalez.
With La Spugnatura, a centuries-old extraction technique, bergamot peel is pressed by hand against a natural sea sponge to release its essential oils. The sponge absorbs the oil and juice, which are then carefully squeezed to collect an essence prized for its freshness, complexity, and natural richness. Still preserved by only a few artisans in Calabria, this method yields very small quantities, making it a rare expression of bergamot.
Designer Laura Gonzalez reinterprets Acqua di Parma’s summer world through organic patterns and sculptural silhouettes inspired by sea, coral, rock formations, and Mediterranean light. Her signature graphic language appears across the collection—from labels and caps to candle glass—turning landscape into design.
A place where the day softens, and simplicity becomes sophistication. La Caletta is an intimate Italian summer—almost secret—where time slows, the sea sets the pace, and every detail feels personal.Beyond fragrance, the Art of Living extends the Maison's philosophy of transforming daily rituals into expressions of Italian style. Each object embodies playful refinement and exceptional craftsmanship, with an Italian name that evokes the ease and wit of summer days.
This ceramic masterpiece is born from Gonzalez’s fascination for organic Mediterranean forms. This sculptural candle transforms the branching silhouette of coral into a refined, architectural object. The design draws inspiration from the delicate yet resilient structure of marine life, capturing the fluid movement and vitality of the sea while maintaining a sense of balance and precision. The candle features a carefully crafted base adorned with a graphic pattern that enhances its visual depth, while the upper section is treated with a hand-finished organic texture, echoing the natural irregularity of coral formations, with hand-finished deep-blue and silver details, in notes of Fico di Amalfi.
