From Ladin—a traditional Romance language with roots in Latin, still spoken in parts of the Dolomites—Tola means tile, an ode to the object's pattern inspired by the sloped, tiled rooftops of alpine houses. The Tola vase in Giallo Cima is a sculptural object designed by Cristina Celestino, crafted in glazed porcelain with a distinctive craquelé effect. This aged, textured effect recalls the decorative treatments of the alpine Stube. The repeating geometric motif gives the surface an architectural rhythm, while the high-gloss finish enhances its sense of depth and light. The fully glazed vase features a tone-on-tone Acqua di Parma crest embossed on each relief panel, while the base maintains the same tonal finish with the designer's signature underneath the vase.
