From Ladin—the ancestral language of the Dolomites still spoken in pockets of the region—Stua refers to both the stove and a warm living room, recalling the gathering space of the alpine home. The Stua candle is presented in a brushed-effect porcelain vessel in a Verde Cembro glaze, evoking the lush green mountain pines and forests that surround the Dolomites. The textured pennellato effect, reminiscent of the hand-painted stube of traditional alpine interiors, gives the object a vertical textured finish porcelain. The dark wooden cap, engraved tone-on-tone with the Acqua di Parma crest, serves both as a lid and as a base for display. Inside, it reveals a smooth yellow porcelain insert with Cristina Celestino’s signature. Bosco is a composition that captures the crisp air of the mountains through notes of fir, frosted pine needles, and eucalyptus, gently warmed by clove.
